With that said If you are getting a controller that still works, you're going to use it for casual gaming and are on a tight budget, this really is the one for you. Short answer yes those are entirely different gear tailored for pro gaming with all types of bells and whistles tailored for competitive gameplay. Would i still use the latter ones mentioned. Almost ever fps, driving and open world game supports the gear even though its a bit outdated now considering we now run on xbox one and scuff controllers. I was pleasantly surprised with the number of games that are compatible with the controller. Personally i never bothered to use it since it's pretty straight forward but if it was in need of an update i'd simply download and install the drivers (that continue to be updated) later to resolve any issues or modifications. It's compatible with windows 7 and above and comes with a cd driver if need be. It has a simple plug and play functionality and comes with usb adaptor if you want to connect to pc. The body has a high quality feel about it and it feels comfortable in my hands with little slip. The wired controller is extremely responsive and has zero delay compared to most wireless model, which is great for competitive gaming where 1ms can decide if you win or lose. If you're comfortable using an xbox controller then you wont have an issues using this for the pc.
